OK guys, I'm new here and I have to say this forum is excellent.

I've been reading about BH for two days. Some stuff I get, some I don't yet. Would you comment on this strategy to see if I'm correct.

OK let's say I have 1 money site, and 20 sites I can comment on with do.follow, each site being PR 6 (that's for the exemple) (which is quite good a good PR I think?).

Solution #1: comment and put links directly to my web site

Solution #2 : create a tier site, say a fake blog, and put the links to this tier. Then on the fake blog, put a "Source : [link to my site]" at the end of the article.

Solution #3: create the same fake blog, put the links from the PR6 site to it, and cloack it so that it does a 301 to my money site.

Solution #2 would be not to spoil my money site, solution #3 would be to take all the juice AND hide what's going on from competition.

Would that be correct? OK I know I would need more sites to comment on and probably tons of fake blogs but is the idea / concept OK?

Again I'm just starting, wanted to see if I got it OK.

Thanks for your time gentlemen!

sounds like it should work, trial and error my friend. Try it out!

So the 20 sites that you can "comment" on are other blogs or web 2.0 properties that you are going to create? You need to be a little more clear dude.

Thanks to both of you.

Yeah no mass creation (as yet :)), just existing websites (gov, big forums with high PR) and do.follow on.

Is the 301 cloacking (solution #3) right? What would be the effectiveness 301 clocking vs [no cloacking and 1 link on the fake blog]? (301 = 100%, one link = ?). What do you usually do?

If they are PR6 just link directly to your site. Dont do it all in one day and also mix a few lower PR links in at the same time you create the PR6 links and you should have no problem.

Yeah, if they are actually PR6 definitely just link them direct to your money site. Try doing 1 every week or something though, because it will look weird to Google getting such high PR links so quickly to a new website.

You will want to link directly to your money site with "quality" links like these PR 6 ones. The tier sites are used when their is a ton of spammy links that you do not want associated with your blog. All quality will go to the money site, while all crappy, spammy links will go to a "buffer" site.

Oh yeah right OK. It's just that I didn't want the competition to harvest thoses sites like that, I wanted to hide a little.

OK nice thank you guys, I think I got the big picture so far.
