When I first began learning about SEO, I was annoyed at how often people would use SEO jargon when explaining certain topics to people who were new to the industry, probably because they wanted to look like experts in the industry. They would often say things such as, "Yeah man, all you have to do with PPA is blast some tier 2 links at a good tier 1 pointing to your money site with your primary keyword as your anchor text to boost it in the SERPs ". PPA? Money site? Tier 1? Tier 2? Primary keyword? Anchor text? What?!

However, all this did was lead to more frustration, because if you research terms such as PPA, sites like Professional Photographers of America came up.

That's why on my sites and around here, if you've ever noticed, I often define or spell out the acronyms before putting the acronym in parentheses when I'm providing an explanation. It saves the people who are new to SEO the headache of finding these terms themselves and gives them the chance to learn these terms while they read what I wrote.

haha, never thought of it this way, nice of you to do this...though not always "looking like an expert" is the case, maybe you're just in a hurry and you give someone a way to go, they do need to do a little research...
