Learning or Outsourcing

Hi,

I have a question for you and I'd like to hear you opinion.

What would you consider best: learn all the black hat / white hat stuff and implement it yourself including VPS and all the nice tools or rather outsource everything.

I am genuinly interested in the topic and already made some experience. However, to really get into it I have to invest more time and right now I think it could pay off on the long run.

Outsourcing is fine too and it'll certainly help to scale. Note: I think outsourcing is not worth it if you don't understand what your service provider is doing...

I think I'll invest time to really get into it doing it by myself and diversify a little buying some services here and there on BHW.

What do you think?

That's really depending on you and what do you want to do with your time and resources. Me, at this moment, since I don't have enough money for outsourcing I just do myself all the work and I enjoy doing it.

That sounds pretty valid to me. Money for me is not an issue but I enjoy learning new things about the topic and then implementing them into my sites.

Learn how to do it yourself and then you understand the process and can outsource with confidence. Personally I would rather have a reliable machine working for me than a flaky person any day of the week anyway.

Run out in to the market with a fistful of money and a head full of air and you'll soon get taken for a ride.

You should invest then. It's better to save time. I admit I do a lot of stuff on my own, so I know a little bit in just about everything, but it doesn't really help save time. ie. most of the bots I make end up costing me more time to make them then they help because of bugs/site updates etc.

On your spare time however, it wouldn't be so bad to check how things work. In fact would probably be a good idea so that you know when you are getting a good deal or not. Always do research on what you outsource beforehand though (ie. Doesn't mean writing articles about health, but rather take a few minutes to read some articles on ezine or something and compare).

Learn it untill you have time....if you`re a time millionare than learn,but if for your time is money than go buy service and focus on what you`re the best

Outsourcing is pretty hard. You have to try a lot before you can find someone credible. There are a lot of scammers, most will just spam your site, some will use auto approve lists that are shared in public forums, and very very few actually know what they are doing.

Know the stuff, so no one can BS around with your money when you do outsource.

That's an option I figured as well. Still working on my postcount and account to age a little

Thanks for your input guys. When exams are over here I'll have a little more time to invest so I'll stick with learning and experimenting. I'd love to join a study group or something like that but I guess that's hard to find. But I'll look around here in the forum if there are some decent members to that are willing to share knowledge and as it seems there are plenty. You just have to learn (again) how to filter the information from relevant to non-relevant.
