Hi guys,

I am about to start to learn fbml. I can program confidently in many other languages so I don't think it should be a problem.

I have researched fbml and I can't seem to find many in depth tutorials on it still. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks in advance,
peace.

I want to be able to create an application which will, once the user allows, update the users status and maybe does a wall post.
And maybe make the user send message to 1 friend every x hours or something.

Is this possible?
I have read about NeoApp that will do this but I don't want to get it.. but I can't seem to find enough resources to code this myself.

Thanks for any help in advance.
Peace.

I am looking for examples and methods really :\ Looks like nobody likes to share skeleton source codes.

thanks.

No point learning it tbh, they are slowly getting rid of the tags supported in the new year

Too late friend.
They going to remove the FBML application by Q1.
But anyhow, existing FBML still will be supported (as stated in the developer's forum)

Are they deffo supporting all tags though? I'm sure i read they were phasing them out slowly.

Well...we all know that nothing stays long in FB ;)
But the latest info that i got from Matt (Platform Team) is that any existing FBML will still be supported but they wont be any NEW FBML application after Q1.

But Namita haven't gave any b/w yet on the exact date because they are still preparing the iFrame solution for the Tabs.

But this will the the latest quote from the roadmap:
We will stop allowing new FBML applications, but will continue to support existing FBML tabs and applications. Instead, we recommend using IFrames.

Yet again, you wouldn't know because Facebook constantly change every second ;)
