There is a lot that goes into data science. Do you have a math and programming background? You can create programs that will learn off of your datasets and websites, and you could use that information to better inform your business decisions. There are really many possibilities, but you need to give more detail.

Data science is such a broad subject, if you're going to study make sure it's relevant.
Basic rule is work out a small problem then solve it with your skills. Then you do something more complex etc...
You'll soon get an idea of its for you/ useful

TBH from what I know you won't be able to use data science to profit off your business based on what you've said. I have pretty good experience selling online through Amazon, and I have data science experience at my job. I have to say the mere fact that you're asking this question tells me you don't know what you need to know.

You don't want data science (data science = for nerds), you want Business Intelligence. Business Intelligence is part of Data Science but focused on modeling, analysis and predicting trends.

For example, I had a customer that had a database with information. One of the tables included information about the sales, including the product, customer and date. We did a fast analysis, and we determined (with a chart) the best months of the year. It showed a trend in the month of January-April where they did 50% of the sales of the year. So, with this information, the company could decide to spend more on salesmen during this date.

Both Business Intelligence and Data Science are filled with buzzterms that means nothing really. In the case of Business Intelligence, there are concept such as Cube OLAP, Dimensions, Data Warehouse... and such but in reality, they could be simplified as : a SELECT query (SQL) and later, a dashboard. A smart guy could learn the basic in a week (if not less).

If I was you I'd learn just enough about data science to analyse your audience and determine trends which will enable optimum growth for your brand/venture. Learn to use something like Elastic-Kibana stack and you're half way there.
