Learning Alone vs Learning with Others

Hi everyone

I’ve been learning HTML and JavaScript mostly on my own, and it’s been a good experience so far.

But sometimes I wonder if learning alone slows things down compared to learning with others or being part of a group.

For those who have been through this, do you think it makes a big difference?

I’m open to hearing different experiences and perspectives.

By leveraging the knowledge and experience of others, you can learn more thoroughly and more quickly.

The way I see it you have your structured learning, and then your solo implementations. The structured learning might be taking a class locally or following along with a free online college course, that kind of thing. Where the solo implementations is taking what you have learned and applying it to something you want to do on your own.

If you stick to just solo you'll likely end up needing to lookup the next thing you want to do, and then troubleshooting until you've gotten that one thing to work. Where if you gain the general knowledge from a structured program you'll have other ways to think about the problems when they arise.

Both are important, what's most important is likely going to be what keeps you interested long term.
