Ok the title sounds a bit crazy but still this is my question. I'm a newbie around 3-4 months searching on web hosting, web designing, seo, monetization..... Then bought a domain and a cheap hosting and played with that site. But i do understand that i'm not getting awesome results. The reasons: Wrong design, lack of content(laziness nothing else), poor seo strategy and lots

So to get better at this i want to start learning them better. Content creation well i'm good at that given enough time and space. So the next thing i need to focus on is SEO because however good the content is and however awesome the site looks(even if i design one) without good seo its not going to rank. So if i have to learn the inside out of seo where should i start? Well this is what many newbies ask but still its a very important questions. Well many reply search in this forum, guys i've done a lots of it! Everything is in bits and pieces and few are restricted so please don't again say blankly to search the forum. But if you have some specific thread then give a link and i'll learn!

What i don't have is money to invest in learning about the seo stuff but what i do have is a good internet connection, pc and lots of time. So if someone could help me on how to learn the SEO stuff to such an extent that i can provide my services in the marketplace (this requires a lot of knowledge or else your reviews would get shabby)!

You can start learning SEO by performing a simple Google search. If, during your search, you find any blogs you like, subscribe to their rss feeds so you won't miss any of their new posts. Here are some nice blogs you can start with:

- nichepursuits.com
- cloudliving.com
- nohatdigital.com
- backlinko.com
- viperchill.com

These are great places to start. I understand your plight OP, much of the stuff shared here on the forum is not exactly noob friendly. You have to know abit of what you are doing before you can start understanding what people are talking about on the forum.

More great resources:
- source-wave.com
- jacobking.com

Some tips:
1. Stay away from warrior foum
2. You will need some money, from buying domains, hosting and softwares etc. So get a job to earn some money to experiment so you can start testing and learning. You will never start earning money until you start putting up some money.
3. So if all you have is time, read and read some more. When you feel you have nothing else to learn. Read even more.

Just take action and you will start leaning, I promise you that. You sound like someone who is determined but just need the right direction. We have given you great resources. Now go out there are start ranking.

Wish you all the best.

My two favorite BH blogs:

- MatthewWoodward.co.uk
- JacobKing.com

I would love to put these two guys in the same room :P

Please don't fall for "free stuff" that ANYONE offers you, behind it,there is a catch and you'l pay huge amount of money..Instead of wanting someone to spoon feed you the information, why dont u just surf around this site and you'l find almost everything that you need to learn..Nothing comes easy, you have to work for it and it takes months and years, but after all that, you will see the results, but Never give up my friend.

If you don't know then that's good. It's a place for "gurus" to "making money guides" to people starting out just like you. Many people fall for the get rich quick pitches there, do some stuff online and earn money. Don't be one of them. You need to work harder than anyone else to make it online.

Making a great website is just step one. You will need much more to buy and learn softwares like scapebox, GSA SER etc. I think these costs are necessary. It's more of how to make $2 with $1. If you do not have $1 or even willing to put up the $1 to begin with, you don't deserve to be playing this game.

Oh no!. the seo gurus are angry. if you don't want to help then don't post your "ewwww spooonnn" or just show him the way, you don't even have to explain whole seo world.

matthew woodward blog will give you good knowledge :)

What should this mean?
BHW is like any forum on the internet. If you just ask for answers you will be met with hostility. You have to prove that you are worth someones time before they want to really help you and there is a lot of people looking to get "spoon feed" (ya know like your mommy used to) on this site and no one wants to help people too dumb or lazy to help themselves. Noobs doomed to live in eternal noobdom. If you try something and get stuck and give enough details people will be glad to help, just show that you are at least trying and putting in the effort. Oh and remember their is no honor among thieves so don't trust people you can't see(and the ones you can) and keep a look out for scammers that would love to "help" a noob like you. Also don't forget this site can be searched with Google so don't post anything dumb(real info, your site url, etc)
