First, you need some fundamentals to learn SEO
Here is probably the best practice to start with
Go to the mirror and see something you don't have in your body. For example, you are short, you have a big nose, or big ears, or whatever
Then start building a reasoning on why you actually will acquire such.
For example, if you are short, say you are actually tall if you're compared with a pygmy tribe or those lilliputians from Gulliver's travels. And you actually could be taller if you drank more milk. You are going to run a test for 30 days, drinking 1 extra glass of milk, to see if you grow a 10%.
Try to convince yourself that this is going to happen. Keep doing this with other parts of your body and build a "Body improvement plan" for 30 days. Send it to yourself by email. Read it and find flaws, and reply to yourself with such flaws. Now try to think of solutions. Rinse and repeat
Once you have built a perfect plan, go for it. 30 days after, do a reporting. It doesn't matter if things did not change or if they have gone worse. Think on what has happened and try to build new hypothesis to improve.
Do this for 3 or 4 months.
After this, you could simply switch your LinkedIn title and put Senior SEO Specialist.
From that moment, congrats, you are one of ours.
Sidenote: Things about Technical, Linkbuilding and all that s**t will be learned as you go. Don't worry too much, this is completely secondary to the life of a full-time SEO specialist.
PS: I've been endeavoring to grow my p***s to 10 inches since 2010 and justifying to my partner the progress. Nowadays, I'm prob one of the top SEO in my country.
