Content curation is not about spinning contents and generating rubbish. You are still crediting the source of contents aka Yahoo news style. Remember we are always respecting copyright owners and would always post a link back to where the source of contents are and would only curate part of the contents under fair right usage. If you want to go a step further, you can also manually input your own reviews about the article below the content. It is similar to how you write analysis on articles when you are still an undergrad by applying your own understanding.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_use
Fair use is a limitation and exception to the exclusive right granted by copyright law to the author of a creative work. In United States copyright law, fair use is a doctrine that permits limited use of copyrighted material
without acquiring permission from the rights holders. Examples of fair use include
commentary, search engines, criticism, parody, news reporting, research, teaching, library archiving and scholarship. It provides for the legal, unlicensed citation or incorporation of copyrighted material in another author's work under a four-factor balancing test.
Also, adsense terms of service did not explicitly mention about disallowing content curation if source of content is being credited and you are not publishing the full article. I am not sure but the terms of service that I have signed with adsense do not seems to have an clause on content curations if source of contents is credited and we do not use the full article. This could be due to the location where I am based as Adsense has localized version of agreements for different countries.
Furthermore, adsense is only the temporary moentizing method. As the eventual target is to sell ads direct to advertisers. This is a much better monetization strategy as adsense can ban an account anytime without revealing the reason thus there is no way to debate with them. Such model of relyinig upon adsense for single income source is far too dangerous in my point of view.
So you haven't been banned from adsense for auto generating rubbish on your website?
