How to link multiple twitter accounts in publicize? I can not open my wp-admin dashboard through proxie, I get an error. Is there another way to connect a twitter account to publicize?

You can link multiple account to publicize. Or you can use nextscript. I have the licensed copy for nextscript. PM with your WP access and I shall install and activate for you since I hold the developer license.

Awesome, nice share. A great help for my current project. Should start with this now to see the result.

How are you guys getting on in terms of resource usage by WP-Robot? I remember Youmakeme you had a high-spec dedicated server.

Since I got back into this I got a VPS with 3.07GHz 4 core CPU and 2.25GB RAM for this project. However, I've had nothing but trouble since starting, as my sites are constantly going down and I need to reboot the VPS. The hosting support know I am using this setup specifically for WP-Robot but they have no idea what is causing the issues, or cannot tell me what the actual problem is.

I currently have 2 sites with low traffic, WP-Robot posting once every hour on both sites. I wonder if my VPS is just too low-spec for this setup or if there is just something else I need to do to optimise the sites? I have installed WP Super Cache and Heartbeat control to reduce the resource usage. So far no help..

@SantaInThailand, if I recall correctly I did try to warn you about this happening. You need a dedi sever. The issue with WP-Robot is that it is poorly coded by the developer and the last update was in 2014 if I am not mistaken. Due to poor programming, WP-robot basically consumes all your CPU processing power. If you look into WHM and look at the processors clogging, you will be amaze by this.

Traffic is not the cause of this problem. VPS is working in a virtualize environment meaning the so call CPU and ram that you see are not dedicated resources. And the more plugins that you run, the more issues you will face. Therefore WP super cache and heartbeat control is not going to help much as the bottleneck lies with your CPUs usage and of course, 2.25GB ram is way too low.

I would suggest that you use a dedicated server with at least 16GB ram, this should help you to run around 2 sites with hourly posting.

Yeah you did warn me indeed, but this was at the point when I was using shared hosting which got suspended. Actually now looking at your original post on page 1, it seems I got confused because you mentioned a VPS twice on point 1) 8GB VPS and point 11) 2GB VPS. For the 2GB VPS, do you mean a Windows VPS for running the Twitter software 24/7? So far I've been running it on my laptop.

Anyways I will look into it but a dedicated server is quite expensive. I could afford it, but as the sites are not making money yet and I don't have a 100% clear vision on monetisation it seems like a slightly risky investment if at some point something in the setup goes wrong.

I actually found an email from earlier from WP-Robot support regarding resource usage and they recommended increasing the memory_limit in PHP.ini. Seems that mine was set to 16M so I have now changed it to 128M and will see if it works. Looking at some earlier WP Robot threads, people suggest that a 2GB 4-core VPS should be enough for a couple of sites, but I don't doubt you since you are the one with the most experience. Anyways, I'll still give it a try to see if it can work as I'm being stingy on the budget.

On a side note, to answer my own question before about YouTube and RSS feeds, I found out the way how you can create an RSS-feed out of a specific channel in your niche: https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=[channelID]

For anyone struggling with automatically setting the featured image on posts, here is a very useful plugin if you are posting videos too: 'Video Thumbnails'
"Automatically retrieve video thumbnails for your posts and display them in your theme. Supports YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Vine, Justin.tv, Twitch, Dailymotion, Metacafe, VK, Blip, Google Drive, Funny or Die, CollegeHumor, MPORA, Wistia, Youku, and Rutube." -You can also scan all existing posts and set them on all in bulk.

There are two types of server required.

1st) Server for hosting - At least 8GB ram VPS

2nd) VPS for running twitter management software (You can save money on VPS if you use your own laptop)

Increasing memory limit would only help in the short term before you experience the same issue again. Unless the developer does an update to the script which I highly doubt so, the requirement on resources will be high. Others can use WP robot on multiple sites because they uses lesser campaigns or posting time. Personally I usually have more than 6 campaigns per site.

Dedi server is cheap and almost the same price that you pay for VPS hosting. Google webhosting talk and check out some of their offers.

You should be making money by now if you follow my instruction carefully. How many twitters are you running? 50?

Thanks for the clarification, makes perfect sense.

Ok good to know. I only use 1 campaign per site with several RSS feeds. I remember reading in the WP Robot documentation that this is recommended, that having more stuff in one campaign is better than having many campaigns as it increases the resource usage significantly (if I remember correctly).

I had a look at some offers on webhostingtalk and you are right, they are not too expensive. I will do some research into it and maybe switch from the VPS.. currently for the VPS I'm only paying $10.5/ + $15 cPanel license so that one is very cheap.

I only recently started setting up everything running again after switching hosting; at the moment I have 20 Twitter accounts per site but I'm planning to scale it up to 50 x per site as soon as I get the setup working properly. My main issue was monetisation since I was worried to put my AdSense on the sites and been trying to find a good alternative. Anyways I will figure out something.

WP Robot documentation is useful for beginners. We have already move beyond that level with this setup. And yes, the documentation specially states that the more campaigns running, the more resources consumes. But to attract traffic, you would need regular posting with more campaigns. Ideally setup at least 6 campaigns posting hourly.

Looking at the price which you are paying, I can tell you that the resources that you get are most likely from older equipments or none dedicated. Don't save on hosting. Think about this, hosting provide rent dedicated server and split them into VPS to sell you. The resources are never dedicated. If you have a neighour sharing the same core as you running resource demanding tasks, then it will affect your server performance. Get a dedicated server at about $37 range, you can see a big difference in performance level.

It takes some money to make money.

Run at least 50 twitter accounts per site. There is a reason for this. Anything below you won't see much traffic.

Monetization, hmm, if you are worry then get multiple adsense accounts. I uses plenty of adsense account. Buying from Getatop. If you look at my post history i am also looking for resident in USA to do address verification from Google. But I can tell you that I have no issue with this method from Adsense so far. Don't waste time looking for alternative and take action. Spend some money to make money, if you have resources constraint, then get a part time job to make some additional cashflow to invest into this.

Hi, i just read through the entire thread and i think you pretty much know what exactly you are doing.

I have an upcoming project that i would need help with and willing to pay a reasonable rate for your time. Would you be available to chat with me on skype. I wanted to PM you but my post count is below the PM requirement. Add me up at killerzk over skype.

Looking forward to hear from you!

I just refreshed my memory as to what wp-robot offers, and it beats the hell out of anything else I've seen. Anyone got a discount code?

I can help you to get WP-Robot at nominal price. Send me PM i will provide details.

Thanks for proposal but I am not interested with payment. You can share more valuable post on BHW then you can PM me to discuss further. Cheers and have a great day.

Hey thanks for the detailed post. How many twitter account are you running to make 100/day and how many proxy are you using with it.

About 20 sites to earn average of $100/ day, each site 50 twitter accounts. So total of 1,000 twitter accounts. I am using 1:2 for proxies. I am just giving on average. On someday the earnings can go through the roof and go as high as $300 a day if certain post goes viral. But I do encounter strange event such as one single click earning $87. Very strange but it happens every once in a while.

really amazing share, this method has a lot of possible tweaks... thanks for sharing your knowledge... its possible with your settings to categorize the post and assing one or two twitter account per category?, in tthat way we are not posting the same in all twitter accounts instead we are attacking different niches..

its really gold share, right now I only have shared hosting. I will try if I have budget for this.

It is possible if you know how to do programming. Or you can hire a custom coder to do this. 1-2 twitter won't help much. You need at least 50 accounts so that there is potential viral effect.

Hmm.. try some CPA offers to make money then. Use CPAXL.com as they allow incentive offers. You can complete some offers on your own to earn money. This network payout in net15 through Paypal. I think you can easily make $100 a month with all the offers depending upon your geo location. Also, for those offers that requires credit card, just use a VCC (there are bst that sell VCC at $1-$2 range with $0.01 balance that is sufficient for activating the CPA offers and earn money as long as the CPA payout more than what you pay for the VCC.)
