That is something that just happened to me and everyone can learn a lesson here. I am on a rent in another city and I was browsing the Internet while someone just rang my doorbell. I got the keys and opened the door, while asking myself "who the hell is bothering me?". By my surprise when I opened the door I saw three kids - 2 boys and a girl. The girl was like ten or eleven years old while the boys were like nine years old. One of the boys was holding an opened box and inside it there were handmade bracelets. They we made of little exotic-colored plastic threads tied together. The kids of course told me that they are selling them. They even had two models of bracelets and the second model was three times more expensive. What a little devils! Anyways I tried one of the bracelets and bought it - I saw this a good opportunity to buy a gift for my girlfriend. I even bought one for myself! Anyways - I told the kids that this is the way to go and that they should keep doing it. So if you've thought that the lesson is "get some kids to sell your stuff by knocking on others doors" well that is not correct. The lesson here is that you should differentiate yourself and get your feet wet (and also offer your clients to buy something more expensive but that's another topic).
