leadgen, what is it & my queries regarding it

from what i see, leadgen is basically collecting user's contact information (email, phone number, etc) along with detailed demography

this then extends to phone & email marketing

the "funnel" or thing goes like this

leadgen -> email/phone/dr marketing -> SaaS (many services they can sell)

now among SaaS they may sell creative work, AI automation solutions, IT, infrastructure, loans/grants, media buying solutions, etc

but some blackhat people can also use this for selling adult stuff, casino, meds, sextortion, spamming, scams

I'm not pointing out the ethics, I'm just curious how this operates on the blackhat side of things

like do those blank CC submit smartlinks steal your info & also card or do phishing sites created for that steal card and info both

genuinely curious and how much people made from this blackhat side of stuff in the last year or two

and also on some certain sites & groups you can find if your data has been breached/leaked

does that make you a target for these type of blackhat marketing stuff & do blackhat marketers leverage this data to their best?

Try not chat about anything illegal, but you're on the right track and you're in the right place...

Lead gen could be knocking doors for people to talk to at a later date, I find it easier to think of the traditional marketing practice and work on the digital marketing solution

Yes, having your data on a public platform or on someone's list makes you a target
