Lead Impact Help - Horrible Traffic

so I'm giving PPV another try. DirectCPV was a complete bust. very garbage traffic, definitely feels like bots.

joined lean impact. Same exact garbage. I have a website that converts at over 1%, with most visitors flicking through 7-8 pages and stay on the site for 3-4 minutes.

This Lead Impact traffic stays on the site for less than a second (huh??), click through no pages, and Zero Conversions even though I'm targetting the EXACT same keywords that covert nicely from google or direct link.

now before I ask for a refund from these guys. Anywone else can shed a light on what I can do to improve this situation, or is this type of cheap traffic just garbage?

any help is appreciated.

Clearly you need to work on your landing page. PPV traffic is pop under traffic and a lot of the time when people see it, they close it right away. You need to figure out how to grab the user's attention right away before they close the window. Try experimenting different landing pages, audio, video, etc.
 
So I've created two campaigns so far (I know that's nothing), a landing page one and the second one direct linked which was horrible as I described.

thanks to your feedback, I re-looked at the first campagin and actually dug through the logs of the money site to find that in fact there was some actual decent traffic send from Lead Impact (stats looked good). What's odd is that the landing page showed ZERO traffic in Google Analytics for some reason so I never bothered looking at the money site before.

The trick is now to improve my landing page as you suggested to dramatically improve my CTR so that I can start seeing some conversions.

Depending on how well you target, you can get the traffic to convert. With that said, I've found TrafficVance to have the best quality PPV traffic.
 
well Lead impact sends you the keyword that triggered the ad in the url ?keyword=keyword_that_triggered_ad.

So I'm planning on including that keyword in my landing page as well as changing the graphics/click through URL to match each visitor. That should improve the CTR and possibly net me some conversions.

That works well. Also some good methods:

-Call out the user's location (ex: Hi New York Resident!). You can do with with Maxmind's GeoIP database.
-Theme the site to match the user's browser. Use PHP to find out the browser of the user and have a different LP for each browser.
-Use countdown timers. Creates a sense of urgency
-AUDIO! If Lead Impact allows it, this will help your conversions big time.
 
Those tips sound like GOLD. I'll definitely apply all those methods. already used the GeoIP database and timers on some dating campaigns for POF, never thought of using it here... I can see audio grabbing attention big time as well

Do you mind to share some of those attention grabbing techniques maybe a bunch of sample LPs to give us some clues

I would say that having a landing page with auto play, and auto volume are a must not have atleast, people will go to them and close them, right away lol I would say BH and WH go with a playable video with big play icon in the middle some big easy text, does the trick for me, see good numbers this way PM if youd like ill share some np, good luck
 
So when people click, does the video play? Or does it take the viewer to another page?
