Hey guys

Has anyone had any experience in lead generation and if so is there good money to be made? I have a lot of friends and friends of friends that work in their own business from realestate/beauty/trades etc who I'm sure would love new leads.

I did look into it a while ago through tutorials and the use of facebook ads to a landing page. Is this still viable?

Is it something that may be worth getting into to potentially work with them to get leads for their business.

Would love to know what's working for you guys and hear how you're going with it if so.

Yes there is alot of money to be made ;) I work in a company that do leadgeneration to two branches. And we make enough money ;)
 
The problem is they all want leads but they don't understand the value of them. In other words, they don't want to pay for them.

There is money in it if you can find a buyer. I suggest you find a buyer before spending a ton of time and effort creating leads without a buyer.

Or when you can use the leads youself and then crosspromoto to affiliate and then sell the leads ;)
 
I do a lot of lead gen. But as @Rj268 said the difficulty approaching companies direct is they dont want to pay until they can convert them!

So unless they have a cpa program i dont bother and i suggest you dont either.
 
Well I guess what I mean is I would have no problem selling these leads or working closely with friends on a 50/50 type basis ie: I generate leads and my friends pay me if a sale is made etc.

I have close friends that work in brokerage and realestate that are always looking for leads

It sounds like you have a buyer. Just make sure the details of the business offering is clearly defined. When working with friends this can get easily blurred and in the end you lose your friend and client.

Well the problem with that business model is you are not getting paid on your performance, but on the performance of someone else.

Are your friends rich? If not they are probably shit at closing and so you wont make that much money working with them.

Friends are friends, business is business and in my experience you are best keeping the two apart.

My friend owns his own business brokerage business and in that type of field they are always looking for leads. It wouldn't be burning friendships or anything, it would be pretty casual. I'm sure if i approached with a bunch of leads or I was able to generate leads It would definitely be some value to them.

@anyone in this field and successful, what is your approach to generating the leads?

Yep, very profitable and low maintenance business after the setup.
Im doing it locally only and with the help of GMB because it´s quite easy/cheap to rank ( but takes some time).
Facebook is also an option, but needs way more care to be taken of imo.
 
Of course there is a HUGE potential in any type of lead generation or lead monetization.
After all, it's all about the leads...
