I have an idea for a lead generation business, but i'm not sure if there is software already out there that can do it for me.

I will generate leads online, then I want an email to go to my registered users, where a couple of criteria match. They can click a link in the email to buy the lead or not.
Once they accept the lead, they get the full information and call the lead directly.

Extra features I would like, but are not essential:
    1. A review system for the customer to rate the people I sell to
    2. A way to amend who gets the leads first, based on the review scores they have received in the past
    3. An iPhone app to accept the leads

    Any pointers would be awesome!

It's a good idea but unfortunately there are already numerous marketplaces where people can buy and sell leads.

You should take a look at the existing marketplaces and do some research - perhaps you will spot a gap in the market for something new or different.

And there isn't any software out there where I can run my own "private leads marketplace", if that term makes sense?
I don't want to create a public marketplace, but I have a collection of people who provide a particular service, and I want to sell their services, but retain a level of quality control, so I can build a brand that the customer sees.
Any other ideas of how I could achieve this?

Do all the people sell the same service? Or are you thinking about lots of different services?

They all sell the same service.
I will want to expand in time, but initially all the same.

I'll try and explain it better.
Let's say they are maids. The lead will come from a company, that needs a maid, because their usual one is going on holiday.
I will then panel that out to one of my registered users, who will pay for the lead.
It will be local, and I will know all of the maids within my system.

Ah, OK. So the maids will pay for the leads?

If that's the case, I'd say you are thinking about it the wrong way round.

You would be better off delivering the service for free to the maids and charging the companies a finders fee every time you fill one of the spots - it's more work, but far more lucrative.

I see what you are saying, but the maids are self employed, and are looking for work, so would be prepared to pay.
They will charge the customer $200 for a days work, so will pay $10 for a lead.
I don't want to put off the leads by asking them for money, as without leads, I don't have a business.

I might look at a subscription model for the buyer later on, giving them a premium service or something like that.
I am open to either way around though, it just depends on what works best for me.
I'm still at the early phase of trying to see if there are any off the shelf tools that will reduce my cost to launch.
Do you know of anything that would do some of this for me?

I think I understand what sort of service you may be talking about.

Rather than mentioning it in the thread, I'll PM you to see if I'm on the right lines and then carry on the discussion here (without mentioning the service).
