Hey guys. So I wanted to know what would be a good price to offer lead generation services that anyone including you guys would buy? I was thinking of the something like this.

TL-Targeted Leads

100 TL:$50
200 TL:$100
300 TL:$200
500 TL: $350
1000 TL: $700

What do you guys think?

*Keep in mind these are highly targeted email/phone leads that can lead to conversions if marketed right.

I think you being unestablished on this forum is going to hurt you bad. First you have to make JrVIP to open a sales thread. On top of that, if you are not going to say how you get the leads I'm not paying you anything without testing your leads first.

Tell you what, send me 15-20 leads for a website speed optimization service and I'll report back to this post on the quality of your leads. Then others can make a more informed decision on your suggested prices.

Beyond that, here is my breakdown of your prices. Assuming a 3% conversion rate (most things convert between 2% to 4%) I would be paying $50 for 3 paying customers (that is three paying clients) (100 leads * .03% conversion rate). That means my product pricing has to be at a minimum $15 for each client to break even and pay for your service. I then have to add to my prices so I get something. Seems kinda expensive to me.

Won't work. The only way you will ever (within a realistic time frame) get anyone who knows anything on here to give you a dollar is to offer your services based on an affiliate based pay structure.

Assuming a 3% conversion rate (most things convert between 2% to 4%) I would be paying $50 for 1.5 paying customers (that is one and a half paying customers) (50 leads * .03% conversion rate). That means my product pricing has to be at a minimum $50 to break even and pay for your service. Seems kinda expensive to me.

Thank you for your input i was really trying fo figure out something reasonable to people, and would you say this is a conversion rate for email marketing, or lead for leads in general?

THANK YOU
I wasn't going to offer my services here it would be for entry level marketers.

I'll disagree with that statement in the strongest of terms. Lead generation is completely valid if done right.

What industry ?

It all will depend on EPL and ROI. If you'll find interesting niche to find a leads, then those prices could be a steal, if you'll go after low cost products then those prices could kill your business...

It all will depend on the industry and what kind of leads you could generate...

Please explain why you disagree? If you had asked the same question he did I would have given you a completely different answer based on your forum reputation. IMO he would make money MUCH faster by immediately acquiring a few of us willing to grant him affiliate status vs posting 1,204 times to become as established as you are on these forums.

FYI I'm relatively new to these forums myself so I could be completely wrong about this

would you say this is a conversion rate for email marketing, or lead for leads in general?

My conversion rate number is a generic conversion ratio I use across the board for most things. Sure, you'll have morons come up and say they are getting a 30% conversion rate but my questions to them are going to be:

1) How long have you maintained this 30% conversion rate?
2) Is this rate extrapolated from a 45 minute period when you happened to get three customers or is this a consistent number across a larger time period.

You see, if anyone could get and maintain, indefinitely, a 30% conversion ratio they'd be millionaires many times over.

What Industry would you suggest? For example purposes I would say Health And Fitness leads would be higher than porn leads

Huh ;) finance would be better ;). Pretty much depends from what kind of leads you can generate. Are those business leads or maybe private ? Then you can industry.

Okay that makes since. Question, what you would like to see from a leads business model that would make you buy the service. I know the lead generation industry is shady with people giving fake leads or emails that don't work but I want to make a real business out of it with real leads no bs.

If his leads are valid they will sell no matter his rep on this forum. Leads that convert are instant sellers, that being said most lead gen is crap and not targeted. Rep will not help him sell leads, conversions will.

He can easily get reviews of his lead gen service from other reputable members and not lose a portion of his income to affiliates.

You asked: "Question, what you would like to see from a leads business model that would make you buy the service."

I would have to see reviews from reputable members and at least one review would have to match my service. Getting local leads is different than getting SEO leads and there is a different process to go through for each. Same for auto refinancing or credit card leads. You'll be hard pressed to find one solution that provides targeted leads across industries.

A few parting comments:

someone above said:

This is absolutely true. I know an auto refinance company who pays $180 for each conversion you send them, not lead but conversion. Those three clients I mentioned earlier are now earning me $540. At this payout I would do this all day long. Your $50 charge for the 100 leads would be a sweet deal. Credit cards, refinancing and loans are good money if your leads convert.
