Okay, so I've got a "lead gen business" to where I get sites ranked in google and then sell leads to business owners. Long story short, I can get these in google places/plus, and I've done well with 60-70 sites producing leads and another 20-30 I am going to be selling soon.
But as the future holds places turned into plus. I've rarely, if ever, had a single negative feedback though.
But, it may be harder in the future to get into the maps/plus. I normally use a city keyword as the business name, but I'm thinking google may think this is spammy as recently 1 or 2 of my pluses/places have gone into "pending' which I changed something and went back to "active" (but no new link)
How hard is it to get ABOVE the maps. Assuming exact domain match, still getting "citations" in merchantcircle, superpages, etc.
I'm just trying to decide if the future of my business model is dead.
I guess this is more "gray hat" than black hat but I know google doesn't like it, but who cares, I like the model of site leasing.
