Lazy Ass Ways to Get Great Content

Ok, I know I am a lame ass who cant write. I do have other skills but all in all I am too lazy to write and I barely read except for BHW and the daily paper.

I have been staring at my site and thinking that I need a lot more pages of content. I used to search my keyword using google and find a page with content that I liked, then copy and paste. To tell you the truth it worked well, my site grew to the top for just about every keyword. The problem is that I felt guilty and now I want to get original content. So off to the freelancer sites with a few bucks. I had a couple of freelancers help me but the content was horrible at best. Really I just thought that no one could write in plain english until I learned about spinners. Then I went to CL and posted an ad that asked for writers for my website and I got some people who thought very highly of themselves asking too much. So I tried one page and learned that my writing skills are better than what I found.

I have no doubt that there are some good writers on this forum but I would like to find out your techniques/methods/tricks/secrets/black hat tactics that you use to get great content quick.

Please don't suggest Dragon Speaking because I have tried it and I think that program sucks.

One word - magazines.

Here's a tiny list to get you started.


There are magazines on topics no one would think there'd be more than a paragraph or two worth of shit to write about. I mean, just how much gripping content can one write, month after month, about running? Check this...


Go to the store with a Jackson and get at least a years worth of content. Rip an article that suits your topic, type it out or scan it into something like MSWord with an OCR program, then spin it a little or use excerpts and switch it up a little.

Want some REALLY obscure topics?


How about sewage treatment? Could that be an untapped niche? There's a magazine for it there.

All the tradepub magazines are free. Just like a sore dick... ya can't beat it!

Classic...and great ideas but when I use a spinner I end up re-writing the content anyway.

Let me elaborate more on my needs. I am old skool, I sell websites and im services to obscure types of companies in my area. What I am trying to do is fill sites up with content that match the keywords I find for I them with a human tone.
