I am making a new website and I have a problem. Whenever I view a page in maximized view it is fine. But when I make the window smaller, it appears fine but the bits that are hidden and I have to scroll to horizontally show a plain background. And some pictures are moved slightly. Can anybody help? Or is there a code I can add to my css to fix this? Thanks

You'll have to give us a link, there is really no way to tell what the problem is with out having a look at it first :)
But it sounds like you have set margins on your images which are pushing it out.

Its not online yet as I am still making it. Theres always a plain grey background when I scroll horizontally to the parts of the page that were hidden. If I make the window even more smaller then more of the page is hidden so the background is bigger. Do you understand what I mean? Can I use a generic code to fix this?
