Laws to punish Plagiarism?

Hello,

Here is what I want to do... I want to post at the bottom of my blog something like this :

" Copying contents from this blog is punishable offense. And It may result in X years prison or/and $XXXX fine.."


Is there any law like this to ban plagiarism? if i put like this at least I will scare the newbies off...

lol, I used to get all butthurt when I saw people stealing my content. I just kind of got over it because I have more important things to do like try and be productive.

I dont care if someone steals my content I actually take it as a complimentthat someone. The times that I have found my content re-published on another blog or site the page on my blog has always outranked the copied content.

Also in many cases of copied content there has always been a link back to my article which, does more to help rather than harm the search results for my pages.

You could equally put "you will spontaneously die if you steal my content". Whatever you write isn't worth the paper it's not written on. Move along.

Well the bots that will probably be doing the actual scraping probably won't recognize the warning anyway. lol.

Puting notices like that will only encourage people to Plagiarize from you or even worse.

I ageee for someone borrow your content then it is a compliment.

My opinion on Plagiarism is divided. Website designs are copied in part or in full all the time. One gets inspiration from anothers work and will create something based on that inspiration.

For growth and technolgy to grow Plagarism on the smallest amount is necessary, an example is the PC. Do you think PC's would be of the quality and standard if IBM had full control over its development. This is not defaming IBM but an example that competition nurtures growth.

Same as the Browsers, each browser company has to make their product better, as result we have now reaonably good browsing experiences with rich content including videos and formating.

Sorry to ramble but I hope I give validity to basic Plagarism. But to copy exact content that is wrong!!
