Hello i have always wanted to run my own torrent websites. I am a website coder so would be easy to make a torrent site. But the question is the law.
Now i live in the uk and have asked around if i got hosting if Africa or some were were there are no laws ( some one mentioned France ) and i lived in the uk would that be breaking the law ?
I have asked around and people have told me even tho the site is being hosted in a country were there are no laws you are still running it and live in the uk were there are laws.
I know the best thing to do is making a torrent website up and not have illegal stuff on it. But i can not be on every second of the day and if i made a script which stopped illegal stuff getting though them there would be 1 or 2 still getting though.
Is it illegal to have a site running from a country were there are no laws and the owner to live in the country were there are laws ?
