Hi all,

I've been reading this forum a lot lately and I'm ready to take action to start my own Internet Marketing journey.

I actually never made a single Dollar online. This is my attempt to change this.

I want to prove myself that it's possible to make money online and inspire other forum members to take action on their journeys.

This is my plan:

  • Create a Fiverr gig selling high-res pictures of custom calligraphic/tattoo lettering
  • Trying out ways to promote it
  • Sell my first gig
  • Earn my first Dollar

Explication:
I want to create a Dollar from scratch without investing money. That's why I chose to sell a service on Fiverr. Apart from that I think that this doesn't require in-depth knowledge like CPA, Affiliate Marketing, List Building and so on. I love writing calligraphic script/letters and I couldn't find any gigs providing that service in the quality I can, hopefully there is a market for this. Time will tell.

I'll keep you up to date.

Good luck with the journey - the first dollar is always the hardest (and the nicest). :)

One question: why are you limiting yourself to a very specific fiverr gig? Are there a few other things you can offer on there?

Well, I wasn't really thinking about limiting myself. This was just the first thing that came to mind and that I'm good at. I could make different gigs for different lettering styles.
I'll think about other gigs. Thanks for your input! :top:

After browsing through the offers on Fiverr and noticing that mock up gigs seem to sell quite good I decided to enter that niche and created two offers. Both are based on professional looking photoshop mockups that I already possessed.

I created nice pictures for my gigs and even a pretty animoto video for one of them.

I'll add more gigs and videos tomorrow.

Keep going - it helps to have as many gigs as possible on fiverr when you're starting out. You never know which one will get lucky.

I created more gigs today.

Currently I have the following:
  • Mockup Gig 1
  • Mockup Gig 2
  • Video Gig
  • Lettering Gig

Every Gig includes a nice description, professional looking pictures and a video.

I'll continue adding more Gigs tomorrow. In the meantime I'll think about bonuses/extras I could give to my first buyers.

Found some more time today and added two more gigs:
  • Mockup Gig 1
  • Mockup Gig 2
  • Lettering Gig 1
  • Lettering Gig 2
  • Video Gig
  • Social Media Gig

All of them have added bonuses for the first few customers. Something like buy one get one for free (or a variation thereof).

Looking forward to my first sale.

Thanks guys!

I might jump onto Fiverr as well!

Let me know if you do, we could discuss some strageties.

The impressions for my gigs are ranging from 0-20 at the moment. If anyone has any suggestion how to increase the viewcount, let me know.

Redid one of my gigs and tried to optimize them.

Here are the current statistics:

Hey man!
It is possible 100%. Promote it by reaching out to people. Find Facebook groups, forums and other places online where people who are interested in this niche hang around. Good luck!

Thanks for your encouraging words guys! :top:
