My account has recently been blocked by Google so I've no idea what's going on there..I will ask my friend about this and will post again soon..

i have heard that Adsense is currently being investigated by the FTC. There are also rumors that some of the Fortune 500 companies that advertise on there are filing a lawsuit against them.
Haven't looked it up in the news or anything but there has been a huge amount of accounts being banned in the past few months for no reason. If the rumors are true, then I would imagine Google is freaking out a bit since that is how they make most of their money.

So the probe is true, only about 4 months ago. They probably are just getting a bit more serious about things. Last thing you want is the FTC down your throat when the US makes probably the largest portion of funds.
More or less it's probably just them processing the thousands of people who are getting their checks.

me too thinks so. payments is in released status, but till now tracking number of bluedart is not showing.

If you are in the UK or US, you can setup a bank transfer option where money comes without any delays every 26th day of the month. I used to have cheque and they were delayed every time, but right now everything goes to bank account and no problems with delays. By the way Google also recommend to use bank transfer instead of cheque.

Payment is On-Time. The only thing which is late is the notification
I got the payment few minutes after it appears in the payment section. But, received email notification few days later about "Payment is on the way.... "
Yes notifications are getting late. If you are using EFT you should receive at 25 26th of the month.
