This is my third post.....I am stuffing my old brain full of knowledge that I am hoping will help in the near future. I am in need of a coach.....someone that knows how to make money online and can teach a 36 year old fairly competent human how to make an online living. I tend to learn best with step by step completion of things. I am a tennis pro by trade and have scholarshiped players that couldn't afford good coaching if they were dedicated. I am hoping that my past generousity is repaid here on the internet. Thanks all and let me know if you can help.

you are going to have a very hard time finding someone to just come and give you their top money makers. Really just go to the money making section and find 1 or 2 methods you really like. Then take a couple days and really try them, they work. I know they work because I have done many of them. If you really have the determination, you WILL make money with Internet Marketing. TRUST ME. I make a nice income with IM but if I was a highly motivated person, Id be retired in 5-10 years. It doesnt matter if you dont know anything about Internet Marketing, you will learn. I got into IM back in August, it just takes a little time and effort. And if you dont succeed, try, try again.

What skills you have for internet marketing? :)

If you can code the program, you can offer your services here.

If you can make a great website, promote yourself using your personal website and also offline advertising.

If you can create a good content, sell it to the need, or use it for your own.

If you can create a great graphic (logo, banner, etc), promote yourself into a new established company on your local neighborhood, and expand it whenever you can.

If you think you are a good persuasive person, you can promote affiliate product, using CPA.

    I hope this help!

    Less reading more action...

As mentioned, read up 1 or 2 methods and PUT them work. Don't just read and read and read because how it that going to make you money? Unless you are getting paid by someone to read, then please tell me!

Don't give up right away if a method is not working. Figure out what the problem is and adjust the method so it works.

Another thing you can do is figure out what internet skills you have and go from there, know how to design and code? You got yourself plenty of jobs on freelance websites and beyond.

Lastly, read my signature that is the best advice I can give anyone.

You are likely a victim of too many choices. There are just too many ways to earn money on the innerwebs. Many people go through the same thing; not being able to decide which route to pursue, and become distracted by all the "shiny things."

Pick just one thing you think you'll like and focus on it. Do not try anything else until you complete the original project. All those other ideas will still be there when you're done with the first one. If not, they will have been replaced with even bigger and better things.

The important thing is, nothing happens until someone DOES something!

No doubt springer98.....I guess I am trying to find someting that i can do now. I joined Freelance and put in some bids, but I'm not sure what the heck I'm doing. Kinda flying by the seat of my pants.......just waiting for someone to say, "what? Are you an idiot?" Not that I care what they think, but I like to think that I am a reputable man and don't want to produce any crap for anyone to buy. I want to make sure it is done right.

Urrrrrm..... if you are a tennis coach then you should go into the tennis niche....

either create your own ebook or promote someone elses (not from clickbank) and build a list.... You should have no problem writting articles all day long about tennis... and so could actually make alot of money. Will just take time.

Look up affiliate marketing. And if i could help you more i would want some cash :p

So, what is it you want to do? Do you know, or is it just a broad "make money" right now?

First, you MUST decide which path you will take. No one else can make that decision for you. Once you have a direction, others can help guide you.

OK....I can write articles all day long about the following subjects. Tennis, hunting, fishing, hiking, outdoors, cooking, meat processing, coffee shops and many smaller niches within these subjects. Tennis and fishing are probably my two most knowledgable fields. Should I write articles or just write a book.

I suggest you find a product to promote related to tennis.... maybe make a blog or something....

then write some articles on your blog and also some for ezinearticles....

then you can earn via amazon and ebay with people buying products and you being an affiliate and also with an ebook of either yours or someone elses.....

go and read some affiliate ebooks (maybe by ewen chia or something) and get more of an idea about what your doing etc :)

There's at least one (maybe more) thread dedicated to earning money by publishing content on AC (associated content.) If writing is your forte, I'd look into that.

There are also a shit load of other forums on the innerwebs where people are desperately looking to buy unique content. Ummmm, DP comes to mind, among others. Not to mention the BST forum right here at BHW where you can post your wares or contract to others for writing gigs.

Loads of free ways to translate your work into a PDF

    Code:
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=free+pdf+maker&btnG=Search
That's pretty much the accepted way to publish now.

    Hi there

write down what you've already tried and WHY you tried it

If you tried because you thought it would work then you don't have a clear enough idea of WHAT you want from IM

Set a money goal, a learning goal, a productivity goal then decide what you will do because you know why you want to do it.

It's all basics at the start.

Good advice is given above but you must work on yourself first.

I think that for someone like yourself you should def stick to what you know already.

When you have good clear goals and strong enough reasons why drop me a PM and I'll help you as best I can.

i make a full time living online and right now I am into CPA, membership sites and some PPC campaigns

    all the best

    oscar....

I'll try giving you my idea in a step by step manner and hope that helps:

    1. Write an eBook on either Tennis or Fishing, whichever you prefer. Use Open Office and pay attention to every detail, including using background and header images in your document. Really spice it up so that the presentation and substance are both top-notch. Save it as a PDF.

    2. Create a PayPal account if you don't have one.

    3. Set up a free account at PayLoadz to automate the delivery after buyers pay through PayPal Once you start making sales you'll need to upgrade to one of their paid plans which I think is completely worth it, but if you don't you can always stop using them and setup some other delivery system if you want. (HINT: one of the major benefits to using PayLoadz is there's a built-in affiliate system there, so you can get others to market and sell your product for you too)

    4. Create a nice looking sales page for your eBook. There's lots of info here on landing pages and sales copy so I don't need to go into that. Just be sure you use smart keywords that will attract "buying" traffic (look into keyword research here on the forum) in your page title and sales copy text.

Make sure you have a good stats tracking system on your sales page. I use Google Analytics but any good stats program is fine as long as it tells you how many people are visiting, where they're coming from and what search terms they used to find you.

    5. Use social bookmarking to start getting some initial traffic. Again, lots of info about this here on the forum.

    6. Submit your site to tons of directories.

    7. Start writing articles on whichever subject your book is about. Use the first ones to create a Squidoo Lens, HubPages page and Weebly blog -- and make sure you link to your sales page from each of those. Also be sure to social bookmark each of them too, and from Squidoo and HubPages there will be an RSS feed for your page, submit those to a pinging service.

    8. Start submitting additional articles to Article Directories like eZine Articles, GoArticles, SearchWarp, ContentCaboodle and etc. Make sure you create a good "call to action" link to your sales page in the article author's resource box. Don't say "click here" with your link, say something like "Get more tips on BLANK here" to encourage higher click-thru's

It's also not a bad idea to look for a program called Article Post Robot and automate submitting articles to a bunch of article directories with that too.

    9. Social bookmark your published articles on the article directories to boost traffic to them which will hopefully boost traffic to your sales page.

    10. Keep pumping out the articles and social bookmarking them once published until you're averaging 200+ daily visitors and have received at-least 4000 to 5000 total human visitors to your sales page.

Then review your stats. How many sales have you made? What's the conversion rate?

    - If you're making 1 sale per 200 human visitors or better then you're really golden and just need to ramp it up.
    - If you're making 1 sale per 500 human visitors or better then you've got a good product and a buying market but may be able to tweak either your sales copy to convert better, or the subjects you're writing articles about to attract more targeted visitors.

For instance, if your book is about improving your tennis swing, you may be writing articles about picking the best tennis shoes; and even though both topics are tennis related the visitors to your sales page from your tennis shoes articles aren't perfectly targeted to your tennis swing eBook, so fine-tune the subjects you write articles about to better target the perfect visitors for your product.

    - If you're not converting any sales, or are converting at a rate higher than 1 sale per 500 visitors you'll need to really look at the data and determine if your product or market are just bad. I don't mean a bad product as in you messed it up, but bad as in it may just not be something people are looking for. Or, the market may just not be there, it happens.

    11. Once you're up and running and are converting sales at a rate that you feel is good then come back here and look into things like building niche blog networks and link-farms to really scale it up further.

This is the basic blueprint I've used over and over when creating a new product of my own. I hope its helpful and of use.

    1) I wouldn't go with tennis as it is too targeted.

    2) A better idea is to look through the money making section. Bookmark or save a few threads which is interesting and which you think will work. Rephrase the sentences and restructure it.

( You can go through the whole section in 2 days with a few cups of coffee- many ideas from the older days are just gems-the latest ones aren't too great)

    3) Make an ebook and promote it everywhere - You may use BHW is your promo by saying that this is the ''compilation of the best and greatest money making technique from BHW''.

Your ebook will go viral. Plus, you will have at least 100 techniques in hand.

Write articles, sell them on Associated Content or here in forums, that will make you some cash to start something bigger.

    Or

Write articles, create a blog or site and put them there...update always, put in google ads and make some cash from there...of course get a book on SEO to help you going, it is easy.

    Or

Go to Craiglist and put in your tennis coaching ads...well coach people around your area, so post in CL on areas nearby you...it's internet marketing ;)
