Large discrepancy on view count?

Since a couple of days ago my viewed hours are all screwed up. They suddenly dropped to the floor.

Right now my analytics are showing 3.2k watch time hours, which according to my traffic would be correct, but on the monetization page it says 1.4k.

Is this happening to anybody else?

And no, I don't have any deleted or unlisted videos.

No, I haven't used fake views or bots, all is legit and traffic brought in by google and facebook ads.

A guy on here had his watch hours for monetization application drop from 4k to 1k then magically restored within a day or two

how’s your fb ad traffic been?
 
That's what I was hoping to see, but it's been 2 days now and it's freaking me out. Took a ton of work to get those watch hours.

FB traffic sucks. It is like 50 times more expensive than Google ads, even if you target the worst of the worst countries. Google ads can get you views for less than half a cent.
 
For google ads you can call google to correct that. They will refund you view credit.

Sometime ago I read that true view campaign will not count for monetization. And so using Google ad to get watch time was not good. I guess that is the reason the view drop in monetization tab or is there a way to still use Google ad without true view? Sorry I don't know how Google ad works yet.

facebook ads are terrible, i had 35k impressions with literally 2 yes TWO people actually click on the video. Thing is with google ads doesnt that hurt your video as people click off the ad fast so your watch time per view goes right down?

bro did you even read what the other guy said or just ignored that??

true view campaign/Google ads views will not count to your watchtime. even i read this somewhere.

if you got organic views as a result of true view campaign, only those hours will count but not hours that you got directly from ads

im not posting garbage. I've read about that. show me a reference where it says discovery ads count towards watch time.

where does it say on this link that the ad watch hours count towards monetization?? or to qualify for monetization lmao. in the edited post link someone was asking why the ad watch hours don't count so cry

If you want to apply for the YouTube Partner Program, you can only start the application process when you reach our threshold of 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 valid public watch hours over the last 12 months.

it will count to views but you are dodging the question. where does it say it will count towards watchtime?

nope I don't go around posting bollocks if somebody talks shit, I'll do same back. also the guy here talked shit without even knowing anything. he said stop posting garbage rudely. then what happened? i replied with the link from Google that debunked his ass that watch hours from ads don't don't count for ypp monetization thing.

he started rude then i ended it rude but with evidence.
