LAPTOP VS PC

I'm a desktop person, never liked laptops that I bought, there were always some stability issues with them. For mobility I literally prefer my mobile. So desktop + mobile. I do have laptops but I don't use them unless I really have to. Wondering how I'd like one of these mini pcs, never tried that, idk if they're overheating or no *shrugs*.

laptops have come really far. if your work is not super intensive with specialized software and stuff, you may as well buy a good laptop and a big display + Bluetooth keyboard for when you are at home. best of both worlds. i have a powerful desktop that i practically don't use because my laptop works well enough and is comfy to have everything in 1 place.
 
These days a laptop is the smartest choice, they are way stronger than they used to be and the fact that you get such a strong portable computer anywhere you want is a win-win situation.

Get an ASUS TUF with 12th gen Intel, you won't regret it (you can always buy an external display down the road)
 
Need to travel and work? - Laptop
Need to stay at home and work? - PC

So simple
 
It depends on what purpose you use the computer for. And how much mobility do you need.

If you mainly play games or graphics and travel a little, as well as work on the Internet, then a PC is better.
If you mainly work on the Internet and travel a little, then it doesn’t matter, you can even take a weak Mac.
If gaming and work are important to you, and even on the road, then a powerful laptop is better.

Personally, I prefer the Ryzen architecture because I get more processing power for less money.
 
Why not both? ;) Love my Asus ROG Zephyrus Laptop but I do the bulk of my work on my Desktop.

If you do gaming/streaming - Desktop with Dual/Triple monitors are wonderful. If you are just going to do internet marketing, get a mid-range laptop and a couple monitors then call it a day.
If you are going to do video editing, well that muddies the waters on the price point but you can still do it decently well on a laptop.
 
In my opinion, If you want Power, then go for a PC; another side if you want portability, then go for Laptop.
 
Depends on what you will do.
If you move a lot, you should take a laptop. I like desktop because are more powerful with the same cost.
