Buy a laptop. Best decision for me. You can literally use it anywhere in any style. Even in bathroom lol. Desktops are not worth it nowdays unless you want a extremely powerful $10K machine with 5 graphics card lol.

I use the laptop mostly because obviously you can take it anywhere but if in the office desktop works too. I prefer to work on laptop though.

Macbook Air with max configuration - awesome machine and super portable. I will not back to the crappy Windows ever again in my life I work on it for 10h per day or so with no problems and also on 1 battery charge.

i'm a sucker for the office environment.
Love my dual screen setup, can't see myself being as productive without it.
Laptop is more for checking on stuff, doing small tasks, at least for me.

The latest one with awesome RAM (16GB LPDDR4X 3733 MHz). I just don't have the max SSD, just 256GB because I simply don't need so much disk space. I think US price is under $1500 for such configuration. I used my previous Air for about 6 years with no problems, which is insane, especially when I compare it to previous laptops/notebooks I used in past (quite many), that last normally for about a year each, lol. Mac is #1 for me, no doubt.

So this according to you is the latest mac beast correct?
The only issue I might have is software not compatible with mac but I hear that can also be done with a software and yes I heard Macbooks last a lot no wonder Steve Jobs is a legend

Correct. Yeah, you can either use Virtual Machine to run Windows apps on Mac, but I prefer to use Windows alternatives on Mac. Mac has in-built programs like MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint for free. They also give you a free OS update every autumn.
