Laptop freezes

Hi guys,

I got a laptop, turns on just fine gets to my DESKTOP.

I got a screen saver set for 10mins.

Started the laptop and walked away to watch a tv show for an hour and when I came back my SCREEN SAVER was not on and when I went to move the arrow cursor nothing would move. I guess if it goes for alittle bit with out activity it will freeze up ?

Any idea what is up?

It's old enough for it to be WINDOWS XP. I still use it simply because it records my Guitar very well.

Most common cause is the video driver.

Right click on my computer, select manage, select logs, check error and system logs.

I just programmed for my laptop for BEST PROFROMENCE (sp?), The texts and colors are very plain now but it runs VERY FAST and my screen saver does come on after 10mins.
