Landing page question

Hi

With landing pages, say from a Bing Ads campaign, is there a general consensus as to what is the norm? or what works?

I have tried to look for example landing pages but they just all seem like blatant marketing/email collection tools.

Could I link an advertising campaign so the landing page is a blog or content filled website? I could then reference the target product in there and add a link at the side?

I am new to this and wondering if I have got the idea?

I plan to be using clickbank and Bing ads..

I have the same problem, I am a beginner in affiliation of clickbank product, my idea is to create a landing page for a product and use paid traffic ;

buysellads.com for example to promote it.

I ask if it is a good strategy or not.
