I am going to fill you in on the biggest secret to get a good landing page with minimal effort and experience. Most of your competition is already doing this.
Pretend you are your ideal customer. Go on Google and perform a search query as if you are looking for the service your website sells. Alternatively, go to where your competition hangs out and promotes their URL.
Click the top 5-7 links. Go through the entire lead funnel. Take notes on what you like. For example maybe website-1 has a cool call-to-action and website-2 has a countdown timer.

https://www.httrack.com/. Plug your competitors URL in. Download the site.
Open the local index.html file and start editing out their CPA link with yours. Their title tag with yours. Their tracker URL with yours.
Go through
all files and tidy everything up to your standards as a webmaster. Modify code as needed to implement the best elements you observed in the previous step.
Don't be lazy and reupload 1:1 clone to your server. It is critical you change stuff. Not only does it differentiate from the last guy, but minor tweaks will improve CR. Maybe the button being green vs blue will boost CR. Add the count down timer. The geo-location callout script. Tweak this stuff and monitor how your stats change.
