Landing in the Inbox 2024?

I have a legitimate website that was doing upwards email campaigns of 45% open rate per campaign last year, and now down to 20% open rate. Not sure what's going on, as the contacts are all opt-in and emails are relevant to the opt-in.

I tried using SendX and sending from a new domain hosted email, NOPE. Checked if the website was blacklisted on UCEProtect and it's not.

I heard warming up list dont work anymore. Can you all offer any tips on landing in email inboxes in 2024?

Sending to myself worked fine. DKIM, SPF, and DMARC were verified in SendX dashboard. Trying to send to 80K contacts.
 
Have you tried experimenting with different text content? SOmetimes different content can mean whether your email even finds its way better into the inbox and being opened.

Yes. The text doesn't have any spam words in it.
 
This year, at least from what I've seen has been one of the weirder times as ISPs are trying to mitigate the AI situation by overcorrecting a bit, especially since CEM has dramatically increased as a trend. Spam filters are so off even regular communication manually is getting peoples domain's blacklisted or spam marked.

Have you been routinely cleaning your lists/what has your bounce rate been?

I agree. My list are all opt-in so there's no cold emailing being done. Bounce rate is still around 1-2%. It sucks because I spent over 2 years building this list.

I used IONOS to register the domain. Someone told me recently that may be the reason for issues.
 
If your email open rates dropped, it might be due to a few things. Make sure your subject lines grab attention and your emails are relevant. Try different send times and clean up your email list. Also, authenticate your emails and personalize them for better results.
 
Have you tested doing a double opt-in/refresh opt-in clean up? 1-2% isn't bad, so yeah it could literally be your domain provider, hosting.

At the same time has there been any changes in the niche, new competitors, etc. etc. or any indication audience could be losing interest/relevance could be off? Have you tried doing a test blast to ask for feedback, tends to also help with engagement even if it can be tedious.

Demand is actually more, which is why Im confused by the huge drop in open rate. The website itself is being hosted on a dedicated Ionos server; Im starting to think that may be the issue.
