KW difficulty?

I was wondering if someone generous would be able to give me some advice on this keyword and common variations:

iphone repairs

For google.co.uk, KW tool says 5,400 monthly local searches and competition as high, not that thats relevant though right?
So basically there are a few legit businesses on the 1st page, but some mildly spammy pages which also rank for local searches because they have a subpage for major cities in the uk and just contract the work out.
What would it take to get 1st page and what would the best tactics be, cost, etc?

That's what I thought, so there's no need to drop $200 a month to rank for this? I was thinking about using jstovers service

Getting though the spammy ones will be a lot easier than if you had say 50 legit businesses to compete with. Cost is relative to the work you want to put into it. Sure you could get a cheap non-relavant domain name, but you are better off getting one that fits your niche. You can cut costs a bit by using WordPress or something like that and a free theme. But you are better of buying a nicer theme (they are not expensive). Also, make sure your site is solving their problem. Fixing their iPhone, iPod, iwhatever and follow through. You fo that, they will market for you and help drive your business making you more $$ by word of mouth reccomendation. Just some things to keep in mind. Hope they helped.

It's easy. Build some regular links, do your usual SEO and you will be in. I don't see a point to use any special tactics for this keyword. Most of your competitors are weak. Btw, the Volume is 5000 or 800 ?

just throw some strong links and juice them up, #1 fo sho
