KW analysis

Hi all,

I'm doing an analysis on a competitors page that generates traffic for them. The page has no backlinks but is ranked top 3 on page 1.
Ahrefs tells me that 250 KW are present for the given URL but I know that's not the case.
Can someone explain how it is possible to create multiple articles with all the different KW's incorporated but keep the URL the same?

Create a 15000 word article and use the jargon of the niche and you'll find yourself ranking for far more than 250kw. More words = More potential keywords.

How it works?
When some one makes a google search for something such as: Auto Insurance

google parses it as "auto" and "Insurance", 2 different keywords, so any websites of reasonable value which contain both these words in no specific order, will potentially rank for the keyword.

What I usually do is, I go to keyword planner, I put in my keyword, I export all 700 suggested ideas, I find a tool that shows only unique words and I ensure I include each and every unique word in that article, once it's in the article then over time I can expect to rank for quite a bit of keywords.

Sorry I might not have communicated this clearly. Say there are around 250 keywords for the niche that i'm in

Ahrefs is showing the competitor is using all 250 of them in one page/article. However, when I click on the URL and search for one of the keywords it's not their in the article. The article itself only has a 200 or so words so i'm wondering how they are doing it

If the website is niche based, other supporting pieces of content which interlink to his content can help, as well as if he has backlinks which are hidden from ahref, if this is the case, go to google and search "links:domain.com" and it should should most of the indexed content that links to the website or some of it, or well just help you understand if they have backlinks but blocked ahrefs.

Do an inspect element as well, could be hidden text and keep in mind from those 200 words you can still rank for many keywords. Example:

Sentence: Our big pink mattresses come in all shapes and sizes.
Potential KWs(8): Big mattress(es), Pink mattress(es), Big Pink Mattress(es), Mattress Shape, Mattress size.

Sentence: Our big pink mattresses come in all shapes and sizes including California king.
Potential KWs(24+): Big mattress(es), Pink mattress(es), Big Pink Mattress(es), Mattress Shape, Mattress size, pink california king mattress(es), California king mattress(es), king size mattress(es), california king size mattress(es), king mattress(es), california king mattress(es) shape, king mattress(es) shape...

So just an additional 3 words increased the potential kws you can rank for from 8 to over 24.

... if you got no competitition. or no sites hiher in authority than yours..
