kovid-19 & SERP

the virus is here to stay. for about 2-3 years.
-30% of the world economy.
millions of unemployed on the streets.
competition in search results will increase by 10 times.
ready?

we are waiting for Italians with their opinion

Slight decrease of traffic in the travel niche
Huge increase of traffic in the money making niche

in both cases my RPM/CPC has been increased quite much

dear Italians. how has the search results for sites from different commercial niches changed?

I am interested in changes in search algorithms against the background of the pandemic. What these changes have led to for each site in the main commercial topics.

There is no change in search algorithms.

Only search volume will change till things come back to normal.

and now the search results have changed?

Best way is simply to search this using moz or ahref. You can see directly how the serp change in you country. In this case Italy.

I warned you that the issue will change. you didn't believe me

Well? how has serp changed?

General search trends change all the time. Due to the profundity on society collectively regarding the pandemic, obviously the landscape of serp will have changed quite drastically. All things closed due to lockdown will have diminished in serps and replaced by accessible non-competing alternatives.

Only thing that's quite striking i've noticed is that a lot of amazon affiliate sites seem to have gone off the radar for some reason.

in Italy.
Only in Italy

get an italian proxy and see for yourself.

just the fact that people stay at home changes the behavior of people both in the search bar and on websites. The nature of consumer goods consumption is changing, the decision-making structure of choosing vacuum cleaners and televisions is changing, and thoughts are changing against the background of falling stocks.
Do you really think that all these changes do not affect search algorithms globally?
Armageddon for all queries will start soon in search results.
I only ask the Italians about the dynamics of the process that has begun.

I think their purchase thought process must be influenced by fear, rather than logic. :/
