Kontera Network. Do people make money with it?

I thought that I would give Kontera a try. The other day, I put the Kontera code on one of my Wordpress Blogs. Just as a test before I added it to all of my other sites.

The blog that I added Kontera to is a new blog and does not get much traffic yet. I have received 2 clicks. I earned a whole penny ($0.01) on one click and 2 pennies ($0.02) on the other click.

I realize that 2 clicks is not nearly enough clicks to be able to tell how much I can expect to earn per click with Kontera. But if that is any indication, then I doubt that I will add Kontera to my other sites. I earn anywhere between $0.80 to $1.00 per click on the Adsense ads on the same blog. If I need 50 Kontera clicks to equal 1 Adwords click, then forget it. I'm not going to bother with them.

Question. For those of you that are using Kontera, are you making good money with them?

Now I am thinking of placing ads on Kontera to get some cheap clicks to Affiliate products. Like I used to do with Adwords. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars previously with Adwords promoting Affiliate products until my advertising costs quadrupled and made it unprofitable. Anybody use Kontera to place Ads promoting Affiliate products?

Yea, I think the most I've gotten for a click is about 28 cents and it was on one of my insurance type sites that I get between $3-6 a click from Adsense. I put kontera on some autoblogs and on some stuff that I'm almost certain adsense would ban me for but I keep it off any sites that I have optimized for adsense because I don't want anything distracting people from clicking on adsense lol.

I had Kontera on all my blogs, but after seeing how little I was making I removed them from all my blogs and cancelled my account.

That is pretty much what I thought. But I only received 2 clicks and made a total of 3 pennies. Hardly enough clicks to get a good idea of how profitable Kontera could be. Nice to hear from others that have more experience with Kontera.

Obviously, the advertisers must be getting some cheap clicks to their websites. I'm thinking of trying Kontera to promote Affiliate products like I used to do with Adwords.

I'll probably do the same. But I only put it on one of my blogs to test it out. I was planning on adding Kontera to all of my other blogs, but after seeing how little that I made with the few clicks that I got, I thought it would be wise to see others experiences with Kontera before I went through the trouble.

From a "user experience" there's nothing more that makes me want to leave a website than when my mouse hovers over a word and all of a sudden some giant window comes flying up....

For the return that you get from Konterra, even on my autoblogs I'd rather keep someone on the page for a few more clicks on the hopes they'll click on an ad that brings in more $$....

kontera sucks

the payout is pathetic... I had clicks that are 1/2 cents only lol
