I know this had already been asked several times already in the past, but I can't seem to find any latest comparisons of the two for 2016.

I'm considering buying a lifetime license for content generation for SEO but I'm torn between the two.

What are the advantages/disadvantages of one from the other?

For kontent machine

#producing quality content related for tier link building
#Integrating auto blogger
#Producing 100% related images and videos
#Auto generating title, summary and resource box for every produced article.
#Powerful spin tax.

For SEO content machine

#It is quite easy to use
#It can produce partial readable articles

I suggest Pen and Paper .

I love km mostly because its readable contents in 2nd tier and it can post to Wordpress com in semi auto mode.

I think KM doesn't support non-english content, so that could be a problem for some.
also, SCM can autoblog too + add custom content source. ( not exactly sure where KM gets their content other than article directories )
If both their built in spinner is not great, we're most likely gonna use a third-party spinner so it's all down to the content source I guess.

SCM Has many more sources for content than KM. KM only scrapes articles directories whereas SCM can hit up Hubspot and others. I just got SCM and I think the quality is better than KM however you cannot import content directly into SER via API with SCM like you can with KM.

I like SCM better because it seems to have more features and the UI looks a bit more modern than KM.

I tried out SCM for awhile and it is very user-friendly. I guess the only downside as arc323 stated is the lack of an API to import directly the content.

I'm going to try out KM3 next to actually be able to compare the two. Any more inputs would be appreciated.

SCM has yearly update fee of USD80. Does KM charge for updates?

I tried KM almost a year ago so if they changed the way it scrapes article sorry in advance.
Last time i checked KM was only scraping articles from article sites not from search engine pages.
So results were disaster, since every tool out there using same directories as source.
So results may seem okay for you, but everyone on planet getting same or close articles for the same niche(Not keywords)

On the other hand SCM is using search engine results and therefore normal web pages, so results are different for every keyword.
Quality is almost same so SCM is way better for me.
