If you are anything like me, you were sick of the current iMacro scripts for Tumblr.
Having to scroll down infinitely, which felt like digging to China...
Then you realize your niche's tag doesn't have new updates regularly.
This alone made existing iMacro Tumblr scripts flawed.
But, there is an even bigger reason existing tumblr auto-follow scripts are rubbish.
You're following other IMers who are uploading photos, who are not likely to follow you back, or re-blog your content.
They are not targeted followers, even when they do follow back!
Introducing Knuffel's iMacros Script For Auto-Following on Tumblr:
I spent days agonizing over following people manually... I spent weeks searching for a free bot or script to do the job for me that allowed me to follow real people who are likely to re-blog my content.
This script does just that.
By navigating to your niches tagged page you'll notice the most popular content.
The people you want to follow are in the notes.
My script opens the notes, while simultaneously following any unfollowed accounts on the tagged page, as well as anyone who has favorited that note.
It should be noted that the TAG POS =1 makes this script focus on only the first tagged post on the tagged page.
You can change this to the LOOP tag as outlined below, but this is very buggy. You'd be better off recording on iMacro the note you want to open. Then take note of the POS number and add this in to the code.
