I have a information blog that I use to attract purchases. The turnover is really bad because people on this stage have 0 buyers intent for the most part. Of late I been experimenting with gaining keywords on it. The blog is local to my area and I have added decent link equity for the space.

Is anyone seeing the keywords that hit your GSC and building pages for them while watching the canonicals?

What do you do for pages that stay indexed but never rank, if google hated it would it not deindex the page?

Is putting a GMB on a blog that is doing well locally worth it w/o a real business?

to be honest, authority is a key. Adding GMB without optimized would change a game. Especially if your domain still considered as fresh. But again, adding your web might/might not give an affect. Especially if your business not really related about what you said on your web.
 
Building pages off GSC keyword data is still a solid approach - those terms already show proof of interest. Pages that stay indexed but don’t rank usually need stronger internal links, better intent match, or supporting content. And a GMB won’t help much unless you’re a real business with a physical presence, Google is strict on that now.
 
Make pages for keywords that can bring sales, and skip GMB if you don’t have a real local business.

I would recommend paying more attention to search intent before creating new pages, but I see that you are already making progress with GSC keyword testing. No page can remain indexed and rank if it fails to adequately address user intent or has topical authority; this has nothing to do with Google's "hate" of the page. Additionally, exercise caution when using GMB; doing so in the absence of a legitimate company presence can lead to problems; as a result, it is typically wiser to focus on enhancing local content and on-page signals.
 
Yes, a lot of SEOs look at GSC data to find new keyword opportunities and then create or improve pages around them, while carefully managing intent and canonicals. Pages that remain indexed but never rank are usually just seen as low priority by Google, not penalized or disliked. Regarding GMB, it is usually not worth the risk for a blog without a real business, as suspensions are common and the long term benefit is limited.

For information blogs, this is common. I do use GSC to find queries and build new pages around keywords that show impressions. Just watch cannibalization and canonicals. Pages that stay indexed but don’t rank are usually low relevance or weak intent, not hated. Google keeps them for context. Adding a GMB without a real business is risky and not recommended.
 
Wow i am surprise is was sweeping not to make a GMB not taken. I will go back and look at my intent as well.
