Know of a good CAPTCHA tutorial somewhere?

Hi guys,

I don't know much php, but I'd like to get a CAPTCHA (or other anti-spam feature) working on my website but have had a hard time finding a good tutorial. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Has anybody found that CAPTCHA may actually cost them customers because it can be so frustrating to guess the word(s)?

Check out reCaptcha. Best out there, and very easy to implement.

Or solvemedia - http://www.solvemedia.com/publishers/

Or, you could do something smart, like adding a captcha image+input field and then hiding/removing them with javascript (or adding a text saying "If you're a human being, DO NOT enter anything in this field").
