I'm thinking of a few good ways to nastily eliminate my competition on SEO.

This is what I've come up with:

Buy an xrumer blast designed to look like spam.

Generally spam enough to get the website blacklisted.

Any more ideas?

EDIT:

Also found out link spamming edus and govs as well as link injection.

EDIT2:

Copying their website, posting it on a number of free hosting, they get duplicate content penalties.

I guess it sounds like a good idea but I guess I'm unsure of how it will turn out. Maybe someone with a stronger knowledge of the results of an xrumor blast can assist?

How about you use this competition to motivate you to improve? Competition is healthy, means you can steal their ideas :eyebrows:

There have been alot of posts recently regarding knobling the competition.
Is this a sign of things to come? Or is it just getting tougher and the weak
are resorting to dirtier tactics to get their share?

dude thats not fair -
If yo gotta do blackhat then use it to dominate his site

Not bring him down, think for a moment if some one did that to your site or when people flag your ads??

yeah man karma is a bitch ; don't unto others what you wouldn't like others to do unto you..

lol man you gotta love this guys humor and wit

why does everyone need to find morality for these type posts?

lol, If it works go for it. Do you know if that will work or is all that theory? Have you tried it yet or still waiting for more ideas? Keep us updated.

Really waiting and about to use ideas to knock off a pretty big site that's hogging up my niche. :)

I've been looking through what's a nono according to google and am pretty sure it'll work. lol

wont work...

The se's just do not count spam links... it would be too easy otherwise for everyone do spam links to their competitors...

Dup content is only an issue on your own domain... so copying a site will not work...

Good luck..

As mentioned above spam does not hurt a site, it just gets discounted. You could however try buying links for them from sites like PPPost (like $20 for 4 $2.50 PR2) and a couple weeks after those links go live report them to Google for buying links.

like azxten said, buy links, buy xrumer blast or blog comments, prstorm it, then report to google.

Karma is a bitch, then lets fuck her !

I think if such a thing was possible then it would have been done so much already it would be old news by now.

Most likely you just end up sending extra traffic an helping your competitor. If he is doing so much better than you then likely he has a ton of good clean traffic.

We all know black hat tactics are trash on their own, but a great way to enhance the bottom line of a legitimate business. That is all you are likely to accomplish.

this is true.

google states exactly: there is no way an outside force will be able to get your site black listed or penalized.

and as far as that duplicate content issue: google doesnt penalize, they just wont rank you as well. and the new sites that sprung up with the same content as your competitor will not rank, not your competitor where the contents already been scanned by bots with a earlier timestamp. they will have no effect on hindering your competitors rank.
