lol i did it on my dirt bike. but fuck the fractures to the bone are not to bad i dont think. but im using the time to use BHW and set up a buisness.

Had ACL done on both knees used to get regular fluid drains until I paid and went private to get the work done. I was out for 9 months - not going to lie I still get issues now I spent out on a decent knee braces I use for sport even weight lifting.

Depending on how you want to look at it as an up or downside... my knees are more accurate than the weather report they will tell me when its cold or raining long before it happens..

I busted my arm on my kx450. Use this time to build an asset.
I used my 9 months to build my asset, I used drugs to get here, but I did. Use your down time to build an income. Do it. No excuses

Work with a physiotherapist. They can provide Post-Surgery treatment and exercises to get you moving again a lot quicker (and should be able to shorten the recovery time)

Recommend getting stem cell injections later on to help fix the knee entirely once you've done all the physio.

I tore my ACL

Welcome to the club.

Had a surgery 2 and a half years ago,

now i don't remember the exact names of things they did to me in rehab center but it was something like this:

  • i got special light shit on my leg
  • they put some shit to contract muscles in my leg
  • they used really cold air to get rid of the swelling

Then after i could walk pretty well i immediately started exercising and stretching the leg. You have to make sure you are able to sit on the floor without bending your knee.

I had my exercises i got from physio therapist somewhere maybe i can find them if you want to see them.

As for how I'm doing currently i didn't get back to all the sports i have been doing but if you ask me i can still do a backflip and do weight lifting so it's not too bad. :D

I broke my fibula in 2 places ( one was a compound fracture ), tibia in one, also broke and dislocated my ankle.

Your 6 months might be about right, depends on how young you are and how quickly your wounds etc heal. Then the physio to get you mobile again.

Don't overdo things and try to rush it, or you'll set your recovery back.

Depending on how you heal and recover, I doubt this will happen as your leg might end up being considerably weaker than the other.

If you are young you will heal faster ut anyway,
Sleep is really neccessary as your body is at rest and can focus on healing the wound.
After some time start walking on a pool slowly, this will help to heal and strengthen your bones
I would say that food and sleep are the most important. You can check some articles about osteocytes and osteoblasts. Maybe you can learn how to make the recovery

Never have I ever broke my knee. Get well soon, pal.

Yea I’m really pushing to make something while I’m down!

Yea I need to get with a good therapist to get me moving faster for sure.

If you can still lift and do back flips maybe getting back in the marines isn’t a total loss.

Good luck! Mine stopped me from getting into the marines!

Stem cells help repair any damaged tissue and regrow it back.

I had and seen so many surgeries.

Me: torn rotator cuff at the age of 21.

The ligaments and cartilage torn from bone.

Had 20 dislocation in a year. Doctor kept telling me nothing wrong. Got his assistant sent me to university.

Benefits of having no insurance and on welfare.

Told the welfare I want get a job telemarketing or go to school. They said if I do they cut me off. I said I dont care about the cash (339 a month 72 dollars food stamps) I just want medical.

The rich hospital said something wrong with my shoulder but it will cost 100 dollars a visit.

Took over 2 years for everything

Took a bit to heal. Less than 6 months for full strength

My brother had same surgery as you. Gave up sports and then disabled

Guy at work: same surgery as you.
about 45 years old
9 months recovery

My advice to you do your physical therapy every day FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE

The older you get the more problems you have with your knee.

Push a little bit more each day.
