KLOUT is a social standard, it analyses one's social influence based on correlation between the content created and user's interaction with the content. It allows its users to link their social profiles. It takes the count of unique followers, tweets, retweets, shares, comments and unique mentions to analyse the social influence of its users.
Its an indicator of online influence, its a branding kind of thing. It is important for those who needs to improve their brand and digital presence.
And 67 is a good score though.
 
Klout can be a good way for advertisers to assess the social standing of a site or blog. What's more, a healthy Klout score usually means they are active and receive a lot of interaction in the form of mentions, retweets, FB shares, G+s etc. I once had a score around 60 but because I am no longer very active it has dropped to 46.
