hi guys,
I have a small dr. 7 books/selfpublishing website with 90+ indexed pages and some traffic.
It looked good and traffic went up.
I purchased the King Newswire Standard package for PR distribution, and then traffic tanked.
The text was the brand name and a link to the homepage.
Is there a causality? or was I just hit by the march update?

I think for future projects I will choose PR sites and placements carefully.

Thanks for your input!

Hello.

Press release sites don't work for SEO to boost rankings. They may bring traffic if people find the press release pages and go to your site, but I'm pretty sure Google ignores these.

Where did you acquire these exactly so I can dig deeper?

Here's an interesting take on press releases

King Newswire might've dropped the ball on quality. Low-quality PR distribution can indeed tank your traffic, especially if it's perceived as spammy by search engines.
