Kindle Marketing Through Fiverr?

Hello,

I have 7 books on Kindle, but all they do is sit and sit. I have done some free days and I get a couple bites, but my sales are still close to nothing. I went through and enhanced my SEO and rewrote my descriptions, lowered prices. Anyway... I saw a couple services on Fiverr that submit your eBook to review sites. Does anyone have experience with these? How has it helped your sales?

What's the e-book about? Was it written well? E-books are a saturated niche, so it's pretty much all about marketing (as opposed to the content inside of the book).

With that being said, nobody is going to purchase a book that reads like junk, if it's high-quality in your opinion just work on promoting it as much as possible. I've never used the Fiverr gig that you're talking about, but you never know, you could at least try it and see what the result is (it's only $5, right?).

I tried a little bit of everything, actually. I have 2 short stories, 2 poetry/art books, 1 on How to sell on eBay, 1 on How to be more assertive, and one on the top college towns in America. All are written well and have close to 5,000 words with the exception of the poetry books.

Your issue may be word count. While poetry and art may sell at a lower word count, people typically don't want to spend $0.99 or more on a book that they can finish in one short sitting. One exception to this rule may be erotica.

What was your research process for these topics like? You could just be picking terrible markets.
