Two weeks ago, after reading the good reviews about making money
with Kindle, I decided to give it a go.

Anyway, I will keep you guys updated on my sales. Thank you.

There are a number of good threads on here about KDP. I suggest you check them out BEFORE you start your journey proper.

Zero sales, zero borrow so far.

What was your book about? Did you write it yourself or outsource it? What kind of promotion did you do?

People think that earning money with Kindle is easy. That is definitely not true. It is only easy if you can produce a couple of eBooks each week. Is that something you can do? If the answer is no, then I don't think Kindle is for you.

Look, earning money with Kindle is specific. It's recommended for those with good English writing skills, to those who can format their eBooks, for those who can create covers and do marketing work themselves. If you outsource the big part of this, you are not going to make a good profit.

The book is in the erotica genre. I wrote it myself. No promotion except using Select. Currently, I'm going for the five days free ebook promotion. I will let you guys know the outcome.

Kind of a short explanation about your journey and what you're going to do, but good luck with it, I have a friend that's thinking of doing the same thing, will send him this thread.

I'm currently at the testing phase. It's okay for setbacks and 0 sales for a new author. 0 borrow could mean something's wrong with the cover, description, niche or kindle select. At least I have not given up. The second test I will perform is to outsource the entire process. I'm not looking for something to blame, I'm looking for the right path to make it a success.
P.S. I've read all the threads in BHW regarding kindle publishing, that's why I had decided to take action.

Hey bongle, The best way to make the most of your select days is to post in FB groups. You can find 30 or 40 groups where people are looking for free kindle ebooks. Post in all of them with some delay ofcourse and change your wording.

You aint gotta promote shit yourself to have success with kindle. Making bank with kindle is a
long term project as far as i have read. Keep at it and you can i have success. Just produce
content and optimize your cover, description and etc. Also targeting good niches is helpful as well.

Been wanting to try the kindle space for awhile now after hearing a few people doing $10k-$30k a month.

Good luck OP. There's tons of guides out there so there's no reason for you to not make a lot of money.

The adult market is very saturated and as such very difficult to crack.
