Kinda lost with blogging (blogger)

So I've created a blog 2 weeks ago, optimized it and set up correctly for SEO, all with the intent of monetizing, CPA in mind. Then I started writing articles targeting some keywords, all of them with less thank 6k views per month. My articles are all above 1000 words and the longest ones around 2000 something words, following all the current seo rules that apply to written content, uploading at least 1 per day and only missed 2 days cuz of an illness.

The blog however is not that specific, I mean, it's about a general topic; lets say it's about vehicles. The articles are all related and talk about vehicles, on day 1 the post was about cars, on day 2 the post was about bikes, day 3 hovercrafts and so it goes. I don't know if this is the correct way to approach this blogging thing or if it's too vague going through the many sides of a topic.

Going back to this case, I barely get views at all, some of my articles have 0 views to this day and others around 10 or 20 views, it's annoying since I spent like 2 hours writing each post. Im going to try social media promoting these days but what else can I do?

It takes more than two weeks to see ranking results from a new blog. Your on page SEO, if it was properly done, will take 2-3 months to show results, and even only if the competition is not too high. You should try to publish guest posts, or relevant comments on highly visited sites to get more immediate traffic.

@Darth Orko is correct... it's going to take a LOT longer than two weeks to see results. If you're expecting to make any significant amount of money within the next few months, you're going to be disappointed.

Also, it sounds like you haven't really planned out your content. That's a mistake. Come up with a solid content marketing plan. Then it's just going to take consistent effort and patience on your end. But expect not to make much money the first year, and anything you do earn within that time will be gravy. Just don't give up.

Well I've seen guys get good traffic in weeks but then I saw they were advertising so no wonder they did

And yeah I haven't got a thoroughly written plan, that's something I need to get my head around. There's just not infinite amounts of content to write over something, it would quickly turn into a re-wording of older posts and im not talking about my case but generally, no idea how to do this. Will take time to think this and if I cant progress I guess I'll ask here

Ok so I took my time to inform myself and have to admit it was a good "time". But now im running into some problems before I even start working on getting traffic and doing marketing.

I have created a content locker (cpagrip) and want it to behave a certain way in the blog. The first thing, turns out that right now, it seems to follow the user inputs (if you scroll down, the locker scrolls/moves down too) I want it to stay fixed or anchored in the center. Second, this one is harder to explain for me.
I want it to appear a little more incorporated into the site. I mean, right now it appears "on top" of the page (text, widgets, etc) the idea is to get it placed on the same level as the text and so on. For example when you create a page/post and upload an image, it is placed within certain limits and isn't on top of everything so you can say it's how I expect the locker to be incorporated.

Hard to explain for me but I can provide pics if needed. The locker is of the text/javascript type by the way.

You need to optimize your Blog that can get more traffic, You writing an article that's really great but apart the writing. You should do also link building, create some links for your Blog, Get some links from other domain or Blogs.

Can you share your Blog URL?

Finding the right topic to write about is key. Keep writing about trending topics maybe even covering a breaking news involving cars. Supplement that with social media promotion.

Social media not yet, im reading methods and thinking how to properly use them...so all I did was write blog posts. (Since I took a break to plan everything out there hasn't been much content added since 8 or 10th this month)

What kind of cars and vehicles? I find myself in the same points of interest as you, and would love to read your articles.

It will take some time before you start seeing the earnings. Do not depend only on earnings through the blog and try other methods along with this one.

Past days I've been redirectting some social media traffic to my blogger. It seems to pull up few traffic from search engines now in 1 week. Be patient and don't think it's the blogging platform that's not making you recognizable to readers. Hit up some blogger dudes and you could find valuable hints. Keep pushing....

Im trying to get a valuable reputation at quora and growing a twitter account while still uploading content to the site and updating it. Tried facebook but all my accounts get banned in a matter of hours...fuck zuckerberg and his jew goons

You're expecting thousands and thousands of visitors after just 2 freaking weeks?

do proper seo and use seo friendly content, and use off page techniques this may solve your problem

Follow the great advice on here. Do some natural link building and just concentrate on building a web presence. If you try and make $$$ too quickly then all that hard work could have been lost and you will end up the an earn and burn site - possibly without the 'earn' bit.

Using the niche/topic you are concentrating on I can bet you there are a million and one things to write about.
You give the example of vehicles in your op. I know nothing nothing about them but at the same time I do! I just don't know it or haven't thought about it deep enough. So quickly I start to look at the keyword 'cars'
'Cars' has is linked to the topic 'best vehicle stereo systems' or 'most conformable vehicle seat covers'
'Cars' has it's own category of 'best cars for disabled drivers' 'best cars to use for weddings' obviously you will have researched long tailed KW of course!

So you can see that once I have some long tkw I have a million and one topics to talk about as well as some general vehicle topics too.

Not only that but I look at what's trending in G under 'vehicles' and put in some interesting posts about that too. I share these posts in social media where I hope to get some feed back to the blog and more.

Whilst I am doing this I am not interested in the amount of visitors I am getting as I am trying to build content and authority which, as many have said, takes months.

That 'plan' that was mentioned earlier is key.

What is my blog about?
What topics and sub topics are there? (including keywords and general topics)
Where's my main source of information?
What social media have I joined and am I building at trustworthy presence on there - not just spam.

SEO - What does my blog/site look like? Does it read well or does it just read like you've outsourced articles to a monkey with a terrible twitch problem.
Will G like the blog content - do you have interesting articles that has content that's not just rewritten from your other content. G is much older than people think and has gone past the 'Lets read Mr Men stories' and now wants a bit of War and Piece.

Long term plan. What is it that you want from this blog? If you aim for $£ then how? Concentrate on one money stream first before plugging your site with adverts, links and other money stuffing ways that you will just get bored with because they don't bring in your beer money. For instance, you may concentrate on affiliate links and build that. Then when you get some proper visitors in the future you can add some other money making stream such as ads. If you have multiple money making streams on your blog then you will quickly lose interest, start putting poor spammy content on then join the 99% that fail. If you want to be in thee 1% then follow the guidance the rest have given on here, keep up that good work you've already put the effort into, have a plan and keep that patience.

There is not better feeling than making that first $£ even if it's just in single figures - it means that it's working and you can build from there.
