I read this a few hours ago but didn't see a thread about it here. He was not considered a risk so they've released him to fly back to his family.

He's not allowed to travel or use the internet, I am guessing he has some extra cash stashed away somewhere though. Anyone think he's going to make a run for it?

It depends on if he thinks he has a chance in court. If he has any chance he better not try and run.
 
If I was him I'd get my cars back and take all my cash and go straight to Mexico. They probably wont let him fly, but I bet he has a private jet.

He would have to go to Germany, he is a citizen there and they have no extradition treaty with the USA. So if the united states wants him and finds him in Germany, Germany can say "fuck off". Whereas Mexico would just hand him over(mexico has an extradition treaty with usa).

But seriously, though, kim dotcom is a great source of inspiration for many of us. I mean #1 online ranked player of the most popular game? Making millions online?

Fucking awesome guy if you ask me...
 
Anyone with a safe room in there house undoubtedly has cash stashed away. I don't know if he will try to run for it or not, but I'd imagine he probably has the means to do so.

Ouch. No internet should actually help him with that. I used to be obese and years back I swore off internet use to get into shape. Lost over 50% of my body mass and was happy, just had to bust my ass at a crap job to make little pay.

After a woman ruined everything I got back to my roots to make money, and I will say its fecking tough keeping in shape when your job is to sit in a chair hours on end. Requires discipline and time management.
 
He's not running anywhere. He's done. He's not a supercriminal and this is not a movie. This is a sad example of US playing the world police again. :(
