Personally, I am not using the OP's method to promote Zeekler, but what the OP is doing is cloaking the referal link with a domain name that he's purchased. The prospect sees your domain url but when they click on it, it is redirected to the affiliate page that the penny auction provides for you. You set up the redirect in your host provider's control panel where there's usually a "Domains" section which has a "redircts" button.
Although I've done things like this in the past, I've found that I don't have to use covert or misleading methods to promote Zeekler. It's easy to get people to join when you offer free bids. In addition, they pay me anywhere from .5% to +2% daily (compounded) on my account balance just to place a simple daily ad anywhere on the web (most people use free classified sites) which takes about 1-2 min per day (takes me less as I automate this). I've stopped promoting everything else and doing this exclusively.
Anyway, the OP's method IS very good and has sparked an idea that I may use which is a variation of this.
