I'm going to create a Twitter account that will keep people informed of new products in certain niches, and also earn me money (obvious how I'm going to do this). But I'm wondering what's the best way to get it kickstarted. I don't want to buy followers, I don't really want to spend a dime. I want loyal followers who are genuinly interested in the products.

Thanks!

P.S- I'll be earning money through affiliates like Clickbank and Amazon, and also sponsored tweets etc...

if you dont want to spend money then you can manually do what software like ta does ie the 'best' way to get followers is to follow people that are interested in your niche. use twitter search and follow those who are talking about your niche, or find a big player in your niche and follow his/her followers

Also, dont just post your sales links. Ive found that people retweet good quotes.

Ok, thanks :)

Do you recommend I create multiple accounts for different niches?

Try to tweet interesting stuff only or you will lose almost all your followers.

Start with one account

Ok, I'll pick the niche I was originally going for then for it :)

To kickstart a Twitter Account you have to keep some things in mind.

Firstly, you have to know that the likelihood of your account being banned is very high. Dont add more than 100 Users per day and use the web ui for tweeting and editing preferences.

Secondly, you have to define your intention.
You want people to follow you but people dont want to follow accounts with under 200-300 Followers because everything else looks abandoned or unprofessional.
For the first couple of days you can just keep adding ewhores, follow-back lists and teamfollowback users. These will follow back and give you some time to work on your real followers, later on.
There are some very useful gigs for that, too. Dont expect those followers to last very long, though, as most of them are fake accounts and likely to get banned.

Also remember to tweet regulary. Depending on your niche, people are less or more often on twitter so you have to find a way to both reach them but not to annoy them. One tweet per day, in general, is alright, for most users.

You should keep your accounts specialized, otherwise people would unfollow you more quickly. For each niche, have one twitter account.

kind regards,
SICK

Thanks for the great advice. Is there any niche finding tools you recommend?

I'm using Tweetadder 3 to find it.
You can Auto tweet, DM, RT, SO/Reply too
Good software and you can crack it, so it's free :D
