Ok guys, seeking your knowledge again!

I was talking to a potential web design client on Friday. They want a new website design, basically there current one is super outdated. There budget is $20k. So a BIG client. Now there expressed that they where definitely for wanting to go ahead. "This all sounds great" etc. They want to talk it over is full detail tomorrow afternoon.

So to make sure they havent changed there mind, or go for someone elses services I am going to write a bad ass proposal. To say "Look, i've already put X hours into researching your site, im your man". Basically I cant afford to loose a deal like this.

What sort of things can I include in my initial proposal to really stand out?

Any client wanting to spend 20k on a website, expect 20k's worth of work.

They will want proof you can handle a massive project. I personally would expect a small team behind the project. Make sure the proposal is watertight and every point you make is backed up.

Try to make them feel like they NEED your service... If you're being offered $20k, I assume you already know to sell yourself and what you do. Good luck, man!

Sell the benefits and advantages, not the features

I am not allowed to post a link, so take a look at Neil Patel's blog and search the article entitled "What makes a great SEO proposal?"

This article should really help you to know what to include in your proposal.

Btw what software or templates do you plan to use to customize it?

Take a look at there current website there good and bad's from it look for something in that niche and work around for some latest trend in the market that they shouldn't deny in most cases they would go with the same website like they have so if you offer them something better with large number of add ons it would be a great offer .

Your proposal should include EXACTLY what you plan to do and timeframe, what you will deliver. Be transparent and honest. Don't BS.

    It's not that hard.

So heres a sitrep guys. Sent over an email and called today. But she (yes she!) is constantly in meetings and it seems to be the last thing on her mind, or she has no time. How do I proceed without being annoying.

Its very hard to not sound annoying when you are in a position like that.

However, if they are a big business then they will fully understand that someone is going to be on their case for 20k. Business is Business!

If it was me then i would be wondering why someone wasnt calling every couple of days to check up!

Try and set up a meeting with her rather than talk on the phone. See if you can talk to her secretary to put something in the diary to meet up.

Another way is to invent a way of speaking to her.

By this i mean that you need to make something up which will get her on the phone such as adding something to the original plan that she needs to approve or something along those lines
